Heirluma started with one Cedar Rapids family's experience settling an estate. What began as a single hard year grew into a full-service partner for families, and the professionals who support them, across Eastern Iowa. We built the company we wished had existed for us.

It started with family
When my family experienced the responsibility of settling my father's estate, we quickly realized how overwhelming the process could become.
There were countless decisions to make, rooms full of belongings with years of memories attached, and an endless list of tasks that had to be handled while our family was still grieving.
What we needed wasn't simply an estate sale company. We needed someone we could trust. Someone who could bring organization, transparency, and compassion to a difficult situation.
That experience became the foundation for Heirluma.
